Ocean Tackle International 1 Year Limited Rod Warranty

Ocean Tackle International, Inc. (“OTI”) rods are covered by a warranty against defects in workmanship and materials for a time of one (1) year to the original retail purchaser. OTI’s sole obligation under this 1 Year Limited Warranty is to repair or replace, at OTI’s option, a defective rod at no cost to the original retail purchaser other than the cost of packing, insuring, and shipping the rod to OTI.

Damages occurring due to neglect or by accident are not covered but can, at OTI’s discretion, be repaired or replaced for a specific fee. OTI will provide a full estimate for your approval before we repair or initiate a replacement.

If the rod you have for return has been discontinued or is no longer available, the OTI listed price of your rod will be applied to the purchase of the replacement rod.

OTI will also offer a “No Questions Asked” Lifetime warranty for a fee of $75 within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date. This lifetime warranty option is good for one (1) replacement rod per warranty purchased. This warranty is not transferable and does not cover wear and tear of the rod.

In no event shall OTI be held liable for incidental or consequential damages due to breach of this warranty or other warranties implied by law. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts nor do they allow for exclusion of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, the above stipulated limitation and exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
